I have continued on from lastly putting a headline on to my newspaper cover and I have now played around with the size of the headline further and I feel happy with how it looks now. I have added a subheading to the story to add a little more information to the headline, with out giving too much away.

Adding another story to my cover.
I have studied other news paper and realized that the font is very bold and large. I started out with the headline, Girl in wheelchair after brutal dog attack. I really liked this idea as it seamed a good enough headline, also it would be an interesting story. So I had to play around with the fonts to make sure that the headline would fit into the area that I had set out for it. After much trouble I decided that I needed to shorten the headline. So I ended up rearranging the words to Wheelchair for girl after dog attack which i feel is much more effective so in the end it was the right thing to do. The shorter the better in this case.
Here is my newspaper cover with the new headline.

Starting my inside page.
Here is my inside page. I already had an image that I had taken and a story that I had written earlier on in the project. So I just included these into the layout of my inside page that I modeled on an inside page from the news.
The front page so far.
Over the holidays I attended a small gig at The Cellars, and watched a Rockabilly band called The Marvels. I took the opportunity to take some shots of them whilst they where performing and I have chosen one main image that i really like! I like the way in which the performers black shirt blends in to the back ground. It looks effective. I have removed the second performer from the background and replaced it with black so that I can place text over the top.
Here it is so far.
